Thursday, June 4th, 2020 TEAM ODYSSEY: Continuity of Education Plan: Week 10
Teachers are communicating with students via BPSD email at times. Students should make sure you are checking emails regularly during this time
Teachers may also be using the Private Stream of Comments in the Google Classroom Assignments for student communication. Be sure to check this area as well.
Language Arts: Grade 6 Language Arts plans for the week of May 26-28 were posted by 2:30 PM, on 5/22/20, in your specific LA Google Classroom period. 1. GO TO GOOGLE CLASSROOM. 2. TO MAKE IT EASIER TO FIND THE WORK, CLICK CLASSWORK. Please pay attention to the specific due dates. Please follow them in the order in which they are planned and posted. Pay attention to headings that say, "Read first/1st task, Read second/2nd task..."
If you have any problems accessing Google Classroom and content, the Wordly Wise online resource, or any other issues or questions, please reach out to me via email. I will be available Tues.-Thurs. this week from 10-11:30 AM and 1-2:30 PM as per the district's directive.
Individual emails will be sent to those students who did not "pass" this week's assignments. This means you completed less than 60% of the overall work that was assigned. GOOD NEWS! You can still submit some work late. ONLY those students who receive an email from me, listing specific make-up work that is available, will have the chance to turn a "fail" into a "pass." If you DO NOT receive an email from me offering these extensions, assume that you have "passed" the week. I can't send emails to everyone.
I am sending emails to students if there are concerns or work needed for my class. I am ONLY sending emails to parents/guardians if there is a specific concern OR there is a consistent lack of effort or work completion from a student. This is being mindfully done to avoid adding extra stress and work for parents/guardians.
READING: Please check our Google Classroom and click the Classwork Tab for assignments which have been loaded for the week.
